Can you describe the profile of the negotiation trainer Wladislaw Jachtchenko?

Wladislaw Jachtchenko worked as a lawyer in several law firms and as a political scientist at the United Nations in New York City. Since 2007 he gives tailored trainings on negotiation management for companies.

He is one of the most successful speakers in public speaking competitions in Germany and Europe and the developer of the Argumentorik concept: expressive rhetoric and impressive argumentation are combined to form a unity. More information you will find here: Wladislaw Jachtchenko.

How many people can attend an in-house negotiation training?

The fewer people participate in a negotiation training, the more possibilities each person has to exercise.

We recommend a maximum of 12 active participants, with an unlimited number of employees who can be present as so-called “silent observers”.

Our goal is to increase the negotiating skills of each participant, thus the negotiation trainer addresses ech problem individually. A training with only 3-6 participants is obviously much more intense.

Are the practical exercises tailored to your company needs?

The in-house negotiation training is explicitly geared towards the everyday practical requirements of your employees in sales, purchasing and in management functions.

We guarantee this by giving every participant a short, anonymous survey prior to the actual training, in order to give special consideration to the wishes and priorities. Our negotiation trainer then prepares specifically for the requirements of your people and creates an individual schedule, individual practical negotiation exercises included.

What is the relationship between theory and practice?

We have been observing for years that the greatest learning effect among the participants lies in practical negotiation exercises.

And that they regularly regard our exercises as the “highlight” of the negotiation training. However, since it is your training, you can specify exactly the relationship between theory and practice.

Our recommendation: 25% theory, 75% practice. In a 7-hour training this means 1 hour and 45 minutes of theory and 5 hours and 15 minutes of practice. If you like to have a different distribution, just let us know.

Do participants also receive video feedback?

We offer to accompany the negotiation training with a camera. This method has proven to be very useful in the past and has been highly enlightened by participants, as the video allows for a more detailed analysis of the negotiation simulations.

If you or your negotiation team do not want video analysis, of course we can do without.

Is it possible to book a negotiation training half-day?

Yes. Many of our clients book two half days (usually 2 x 3.5 hours) so the workday is not completely blocked by the training. For example, once as a morning session and once as an afternoon session.

Which training variant is the best for my negotiation team?

We recommend the “tailor-made training” (BASIC) if you would like to train your negotiation team on very specific subject areas.

The “tailor-made & 5 online courses” (PRO) variant is recommended if you would like to provide your team with 5 thematically appropriate online courses (mostly in German) for long-term further training to deepen their knowledge.

And we recommend the third variant, “tailor-made & online library” (PREMIUM), if you want to give your team long-term access to valuable knowledge, with each participant having access to the Argumentorik Masterclas (over 30 online courses) so that each participant can develop independently.

Is it possible to conduct the training online (e.g. using Zoom or Microsoft Teams)?

Yes! We already have a lot of experience – and above all – very good experience when it comes to online trainings. Our preferred online tool is Zoom.

Of course we are flexible and use your preferred online tool successfully as well. Because in “digital rhetoric” it is not only a question of the technology, but also of a professional appearance in front of the camera.
